Kenneth L. Meguire

STRATTON -- Kenneth L. Meguire, 61, died Monday (Oct. 15, 2001) at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

He was born Jan. 15, 1940, at Stratton to George H. and Letha (Golding) Meguire. He grew up at Stratton where he received his education. He was a lifelong Stratton resident.

He worked as a caretaker of the Stratton City Park for 33 years. He served on the Stratton City Tree Board.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two brothers, George Raymond Meguire and wife, Teresa of Ingleside, Texas, and Ervin Meguire and wife, Margaret of McCook; and two sisters, Shirley Scarrow of Oxford, and Beverly Green of Thornton, Colo.

Services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Christian Union Church in Stratton. Inurnment will be at the Rosehill Cemetery in Stratton.

Memorials may be given in his name, and left at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook.
