Barbara L. Switzer

ERIE, Colo. -- Barbara L. Switzer, 29, died Sunday (Sept. 29, 2002) at the Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colo.

She was born June 5, 1973, to James and Leola Ann (Traupe) Switzer in Lincoln. She had lived in Lincoln and Beatrice and recently moved to Erie, Colo. She had been employed at the Jefferson County Workshop as an assembler.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leola Ann; and a brother, James.

Survivors include her sister, Ann and husband, Kirk Jansen of Lincoln; two uncles; a niece and nephew; and five cousins.

Graveside services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at the Holbrook Cemetery in Holbrook with the Rev. Art Phillips officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be given in her name to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Lockenour-Jones Mortuary of Cambridge is in charge of arrangements.
