Fay M. Ginther

OBERLIN -- Fay M. Ginther, 90, died Monday (Feb. 17, 2003) at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.

She was born May 29, 1912, to Charles and Estella (McNeal) Magers in Jamestown, Kan. She was raised in the Traer community and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1931.

On Jan. 16, 1941, she married Kenneth R. Ginther in Walters, Okla. She worked as a secretary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; seven brothers, Charles Roscow, Floyd McNeal, William Riley Clair, Valti Elliot, Ray McNeal, Jake Alvin and Jack Elvin and one sister, Fern Magers.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were today, 2 p.m., in Oberlin Cemetery. There was no visitation and memorials may be given in her name.

Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin is in charge of the arrangements.
