Nordhausen, Anderson wedding
WAUNETA -- Heidi Lyn Nordhausen and Jason Timothy Anderson were united in marriage March 27, 2004, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wauneta with the Rev. Keith Wellman of Wauneta officiating.
Parents of the couple are Monte and Deb Nordhausen of Wauneta and Carl and Dana Kelley of Golden, Colo., and Tim and Nancy Anderson of Ft. Collins, Colo.
Grandparents of the couple are Phyllis Nordhausen of Wauneta, Karol Cannelongo of Grand Island, Sally Blain of Golden, Colo., Bryce and Judy Blain of LaVeta, Colo., and Phyllis Kelley of Golden, Colo.
The maid of honor was Kerri Pfeiffer of Lincoln. The matron of honor was Kristi McNair of Imperial. The bridesmaids were Kelli Anderson of Sheridan, Wyo., Dixie Wellman of Waverly, Christine Clevenger of Imperial and Kim Kykendall of Urbana, Ill. Her personal attendants were Courtney Arenz and Shanna Bardsley, both of Kearney.
The best man was Aaron Turner of Golden, Colo. The bridegroomsmen were Nate Hartung of Golden, Colo., Dave Blain of Lamar, Colo., Ryan Tanner of Golden, Colo., Alex McNair of Imperial and Cory Nordhausen of Omaha.
The flower girl was Sarah Blain of Lamar, Colo., cousin of the bridegroom.
The vocalists were Dale and Lindy Schossow of Golden, Colo.
Ushers for the ceremony were Jon Nordhausen of Lincoln, Jeff Thoendel of Omaha and Joe Thoendel of Overland Park, Kan. The candlelighters were Alyson and Courtney Howard of Grand Island, cousins of the bride. The guestbook attendants were Barb Miller of Merna and Claire Bertrand of Olathe, Kan.
The reception was at the American Legion Hall in Wauneta. Jeff and Cindy Ratcliff of Shawnee Mission, Kan., Rob and Candis Norris of Olathe, Kan., and Derek and Allison Sandman of Wauneta were the host couples. Cake was served by Vicki Goings of Lincoln, Shelli Howard of Grand Island, Karla Blain of Lamar, Colo., and Kim Blain of Golden, Colo.
The couple honeymooned in Acapulco.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is employed with Standard Sales in Alamosa, Colo. The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Chadron State College and is the Big R store manager in Alamosa. The couple lives in Alamosa.
