Stella A. Miner

March 31, 1916-June 19, 2004

Stella Arletta Miner, 88, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at her home in Palisade.

She was born March 31, 1916 at Palisade to Horace and Bessie (Dillon) Jones.

She grew up, attended school and lived in Palisade all her life. On August 27, 1944, she married Bill Miner at Atwood. She was a homemaker and took in laundry for many years. She enjoyed her family and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill on March 11, 1984; three brothers, Orlie, Oscar and Robert; two sisters, Grace Witthoff and Wilma Price.

Survivors include: her son, Richard and wife Kellie Miner of Palisade; two grandchildren, Randall Blaine Miner of Trenton and Lindsay Brusoe and husband, Adam of Culbertson; three great-grandchildren, June Rose and Austin Tyler Brusoe and Jennah Nicole Miner; a niece, Norma Siedschlag of North Platte and a great-nephew Doug Siedschlag of North Platte.

Memorials are being accepted in her name.

Graveside services at the Palisade Cemetery will be Tuesday, June 22, 1:30 p.m. with Ray Ridlen officiating.

Visitation was Monday, 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Tuesday, 9 a.m. until noon.
