CAMBRIDGE -- April Johnson of Davenport, Iowa, and Jeremy Cardwell of Montrose, Colo., were united in marriage Oct. 25, 2003, at the United Methodist Church in Cambridge with the Rev. David Rowe officiating.

Parents of the couple are Steve and Eileen Johnson of Cambridge and Rocky and Cindy Cardwell of Wiggins, Colo.

Grandparents of the couple are Tony and Phyllis Vrba of Schuyler, Paul and Jackie Johnson of Cambridge, Joyce Scofield of Wiggins and Ilene Cardwell of Evans, Colo.

The bride wore a white A-line gown with a beaded top. She carried a bouquet of calla lilles, roses and artichokes.

Suzanne Stanton of York was the maid of honon The bridesmaids were Suzanne Young of Kearney, Bobbie Jo Fuller of Omaha, and Krista Haldiman of Davenport, Iowa.

The best man was Jay Theis of Omaha. The bridegroomsmen were Bryan Geisick of Waterlook, Iowa, Paul Frihauf of St. Louis, Mo., and Shawn Abrams of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The flower girls were Sloan Johnson of Cambridge, cousin of the bride, and Arianna Hellmuth of Colby, Kan., cousin of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Caleb Cardwell of Wiggins, Colo., brother of the bridegroom.

The ushers were Mike Johnson of Douglas, Wyo., cousin of the bride, Tyler Hellmuth of Kansas City, Mo., cousin of the bridegroom, and Brandon Hellmuth of Colby, cousin of the bridegroom.

Jay and Jackson Johnson, both of Cambridge, brother of the bride, were the candlelighters.

The soloists were Tami Johnson, aunt of the bride, and Tara Kampen, cousin of the bride. Peggy Hilton was the pianist.

The reception was at the Cambridge Community Building.

The couple honeymooned at the Mayan Riviera in Cancun, Mexico.

The bride is a graduate of Cambridge High School and York College with a degree in general science and biology. She is attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The bridegroom is a graduate of Wiggins High School and York College with a degree in business management. He is employed with Hajoca Corporation in Dubuque, Iowa.

The couple is making their home in DeWitt, Iowa.
