WAUNETA, Neb. — The Wauneta-Palisade girls and Medicine Valley boys both reached 11 wins this season with victories Thursday evening.

Coach Matt Cox’s Bronco girls are now 11-8 thanks to a 54-34 in the first varsity contest over Med Valley.

However, those visiting Raider boys are now 11-7 thanks to their 70-40 conquest in the nightcap.

No individual stats were obtained from either game.

Med Valley followed a 75-71 win at Hi-Line Tuesday night where junior Lucas Einspahr’s 21 points led four double-figure scorers.

Juniors Mason Roblee and Payton Newcomb-Snyder each added 18 points with Roblee hitting eight of his 12 shots.

Junior Ethan Brown also broke throw to score 14 points for the victorious Raiders.

Roblee secured a team-high 12 rebounds and Lucas Einspahr delivered six assists.

Cambridge 50,

Hi-Line 35

ELWOOD, Neb. — Junior Joslyn Holtze’s 15 points and 14 from Brooklyn Holtze led the Cambridge girls to their 15th win Thursday night (15-4 record overall).

The Cambridge boys doubled those Bulls, 66-33, while improving to 12-8 overall.

Perkins County 48,

Southwest 44

GRANT, Neb. — Perkins County outscored the Southwest girls, 16-6, to rally for a home victory Thursday night.

Southwest slipped to 8-10 overall.

The Roughrider boys fell 72-58 in Thursday’s second varsity game.

May-Hay 53,

Hershey 50

HERSHEY, Neb. — The Maywood-Hayes Center girls reached 17-3 with a close victory Thursday. The May-Hay boys (13-6) suffered a 51-38 defeat.
