Bison bowlers win 21-0 to cap regular season; districts today

McCOOK, Neb. — Coach Jana Sides provided some details from McCook's final regular-season bowling duals against Southern Valley on Monday at TJ's Family Fun Center.

Boys win 21-0. Tons of turkeys (3 in-a-row). Corbin Shaw and Kreighton Barger both got a double-turkey (two sets of turkeys in the same game). Wyatt Benes And Blake Willis got 4-baggers! Corbin Shaw had high boys game with 234 (one away from a PR) and a 425 series. Kreighton had high series with 429. Kevin Wolfe had 420 series, Wyatt Benes had 388 series.

Girls were tied at 8-8 after 2 head-to-head games. McCook won two straight Bakers games to win 13-8. Girls team broke the school record for highest Bakers game-- 198!! Jackie Sattler had high girls game 162. Both Violet Stevens and Sophia Pierson rolled 160s. Violet Stevens broke a 300 series for high series with 301. Jackie Sattler had 295 series. Kassady McCorkle had 273 series. Both Kassady and Sophia rolled turkeys! Some super high scores, a lot of exciting moments!

Boys have districts at Lexington today. Girls have districts at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln next Wednesday, Feb 4.
