Highway paint striping underway

McOOK, Neb. — Roadway paint striping has begun in District 7, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Contractor Services Inc. of North Platte is the contractor for this project.

Work includes refreshing of paint striping on state highways. Counties impacted include Chase, Dundy, Franklin, Frontier, Furnas, Gosper, Harlan, Hayes, Hitchcock, Kearney, Perkins, Phelps and Red Willow.

Anticipated completion is fall 2024. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
