Milton Tidyman

90th birthday

The family of Milton Tidyman of North Platte, Neb., formerly of Maywood and Culbertson, is hosting a card shower in honor of his 90th birthday on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The family’s goal is to receive at least 90 cards for Milton.

He was born on April 24, 1934. Milton was raised in Maywood and after serving in the Korean war he returned to the area. After his marriage, he spent a short time living in Pueblo, Colo. where his first son was born. They moved back to Culbertson and continued their family there. Milt worked numerous jobs but was best known for being a “ditch rider’ and later an appliance repairman for Goodson Plumbing and Heating. He moved to North Platte working as a maintenance man until he retired 12 years ago.

Milton’s family includes children: Vicki Knight of McCook, Jim Tidyman of Culbertson, and Doug Tidyman (deceased). His grandchildren are: Valetha Sims, Kendall Knight, Kalena Knight, Serena Knight, Steven Tidyman, Scott Tidyman, Josh Tidyman, and Jered Tidyman. He has 11 great-grandchildren.
