Wolfe to be interim CEO at Chadron

CHADRON, Neb. — In a strategic move to ensure effective leadership during a transitional phase, Chadron Community Hospital & Health Services has appointed Sean Wolfe as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Following the departure of the previous CEO, Jennifer Brown, who was serving as Interim CEO, will resume her role as Chief Financial Officer.

Wolfe, currently the CFO at Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska, brings extensive experience and a commitment to rural healthcare. Having worked in public accounting and held leadership positions in McCook for over 15 years, Wolfe's background aligns well with the ethos of collaborative support among rural healthcare facilities. His appointment underscores the hospital's dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence.

Troy Bruntz, CEO of Community Hospital in McCook, emphasized the reciprocal learning opportunities that come with such arrangements, highlighting the importance of collaboration in bolstering the resilience of rural healthcare systems.

In his new role, Wolfe will oversee operations at Chadron Community Hospital, Prairie Pines Lodge, Western Community Health Resources, and Legend Buttes Health Services. He will work closely with the hospital's team, board of trustees, and leadership to ensure continuity and stability during the transition period.

Curt Plooster, President of the Board of Trustees, expressed confidence in Wolfe's leadership, citing his alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
