McCook 'Y' youth softball deadline in just one week

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook YMCA leaders are happy to announce that registration is now open for the 2024 Youth Softball League sponsored by Midwest Liberty FCU.

Divisions will be formed for the following age groups: Pre-K/Kindergarten and 1st/2nd grade.

The deadline to register for Youth Softball is Friday, April 5.

Registration fees are $36 for YMCA members, and $56 for community members.

Practices will begin the week of April 15.

Practices will be conducted at least once weekly during the season and are scheduled by coaches.

Practice fields are not provided or reserved by the YMCA.

Games will begin the week of May 7 and conclude no later than June 11.

Teams will play approximately six games. Games will be played at Felling Field.

Opening ceremonies will be held Friday, May 3.Early enrollment is encouraged as late entries will not be accepted.

Volunteer coaches are needed for the season.
