ER entrance to be temporarily closed for construction

The Community Hospital ER Entrance will be closed due to construction work, March 11 and 12. The front entrance can be used for emergencies during that time.

McCOOK, Neb. — Weather permitting, Community Hospital's Emergency Room entrance will be closed starting 6 a.m. Monday, March 11 and will remain inaccessible until the completion of the project on Wednesday, March 13.

During this period, visitors and patients seeking medical attention at the ER and with scheduled laboratory draws are kindly requested to use the front entrance for access to the hospital. Hospital staff will be monitoring both the ER entrance as well as the front door, should visitors need assistance.

"Community Hospital is dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all its visitors," according to a release.

"In order to enhance our facilities, we will be conducting concrete work on the north side of the building at the ER Entrance, necessitating its temporary closure. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time," the release continued

Ambulances will still have use of the north ambulance garage.
