DC-S Tigers take turns downing No. 2 Falcons

CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — Dundy-County Stratton lierally took turns quarter by quarter while scoring a 50-36 D2-9 subdistrict semifinal win over Hitchcock County Tuesday night.

Senior Alyssa Schneider’s eight points doubled Hitchcock through the first period where those Falcons only made four free throws.

Junior Laynee Lutz lit up Cambridge High with six points in the second to keep a 19-11 halftime lead over those No. 2-seed Falcons.

Freshman Kimberly Escobar’s seven-point fourth finished the DC-S playoff win.
