Arapahoe girls repeat B-6 bowling championship

ARAPAHOE, Neb. — The Arapahoe High girls repeated as B-6 bowling district champions with two victories on Thursday.

First, Arapahoe won a 3-2 thriller over the Class A Kearney Bearcats to claim a district finals spot.

Lexington knocked out Ogallala, 3-1, behind eventual district champ Daisy Gomez.

However, Arapahoe rolled past Lex 3-1 to claim that B-6 repeat title.

The Arapahoe boys also entered B-6 but lost an opening-round match with Southern Valley. Lexington then beat S.V.
