50th anniversary

McCOOK, Neb. - The family of Randy and Shirley Ryser of McCook, Neb. is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary on Friday., Nov. 10, 2023.

They were married Nov. 10, 1973. Randy and Shirley moved to McCook that same year. They were both employed by McCook Public Schools. Randy was a physical education teacher and a coach and Shirley was a paraeducator.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Maui, Hawaii in the spring. They will have a small family get-together in Kearney, Neb. on November 11.

Their family includes children, Jay and Krista Ginsberg of Johnston, Iowa; Brad and Jennifer Ryser of Grand Island, Neb.; and Seth and Erika Ryser of Omaha, Neb. They have eight grandchildren.
