Great Y design

Dear Editor,

I recently had an opportunity to review the preliminary design for the proposed remodel and upgrade of the McCook YMCA building. The thoughtful use of space and attention to detail was exceptional!

This will truly be a first-class facility that can be enjoyed by everyone for years to come.

I remember the impact the Y had on my life growing up in McCook. I always looked forward to the times I could go there and hang out with my friends, swim and play sports (especially after I had finished delivering the papers that day on my Gazette route).

I appreciate that the Gazette has been a constant stalwart advocate for the McCook Community for so many years. Thank you in advance for whatever support you can provide to help bring this excellent venture to reality.
