MFL equipment checkouts, practices less than week away

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook Football League will be having equipment checkout on Monday at the McCook Junior High School in McCook.

Equipment checkout for pre-registered participants will start at 6 p.m.

Walk-up registrations will be accepted at 6:45 p.m.

Checkout will be on the north side of the school. The league is still accepting registrations for the 2023 Football Season.

All registrations will be accepted up until checkout is complete for all grades.

Registrations can be picked up at The Sports Shoppe, McCook High School, McCook Lettering, High Plains Radio, Coyote Country, or the night of checkout.

The MFL starts practicing Tuesday evening and continues each weeknight until opening games kickoff on Friday, July 21.

Game nights are also set for July 24 and July 27 at McCook’s legendary Weiland Field.
