Algae bloom shows up at Swanson

A reader alerted the Gazette to an algae bloom that showed up, seemingly overnight, at Swanson Reservoir today. The reader said he travels over the dam every day for work and the bloom wasn't present on Thursday, but was on Friday afternoon. The NDEE tests for toxins weekly and showed Swanson as safe as of June 5.
