Two juveniles in custody in connection with Atwood school fire

ATWOOD, Kan. — Two juveniles are in custody in connection with a fire at the Rawlins County Junior/Senior High on Monday.

According to a release from the Atwood Police Department, the two were taken into custody after a joint investigation by the State Fire Marshal, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Atwood Police Department and the Rawlins County Sheriff's Office indicated that the fire was arson.

The case was referred to the Rawlins County Attorney for charges.
