New Battitudes softball team makes debut

McCOOK, Neb. — A new Battitudes recreational softball team has debuted this spring.

The girls’ fastpitch team features young players entering high school this fall to fifth and sixth graders.

Battitudes is playing in a South Central league featuring other er traveling teams like Alma, Kearney, Arapahoe and Minden. Battitudes team members are Riley Warwick, Alice Weimer, Lilley Gans, Jillian Johnson, Summer Knight, Madie Rork, Lexxi Castilla, Ella Bethal, Ella Miner, Taylor Emmons, Katherine Stumbough, Aubrey Meichert and Brooklyn Dodd.
