CURTIS, Neb. — The Sutherland Sailors and Hi-Line Bulls will become Republican Plains Activies Conference memebers in 2024-25, commissioner Alan Garey announced on Wednesday.

RPAC adding two teams means there will be 16 competing in many sports and activities.

The official press release from league officials:

The RPAC April Executive Committee Meeting held on Wednesday unanimously approved the admission of Elwood, Eustis-Farnam and Sutherland as members of the organization beginning with the 2024-25 school year.

The Elwood and Eustis-Farnam school districts have a cooperative agreement in place for all athletic teams to compete as the Highland Bulls.

These three schools becoming members of the RPAC, the conference membership will be 18 schools participating in activities and 16 athletic teams.

Maywood and Hayes Center are another consolidated athletic program like Hi-Line.
