McCook girls defeat Colby; boys dual to 41-39 final

McCook wrestlers cheer on teammate Ambie Custard to a victory along with coach Clint Hosick as the Bison won their only home dual this season Thursday night at McCook High. A big crowd visited wins from Custard, junior Makayla Pate and others. McCook High's boys wrestled the tough Kansas foe to a 41-39 final in this doubleheader under the big spotlight. Senior Alex Anthony dominated his last match in the home gym while Spencer Steinbeck, Canyon Hosick and Tristan Campbell were among other Bison winners. Watch for details in Friday's McCook Gazette.
