BARTLEY, Neb. — The RPAC wrestling tournament featuring 13 teams has two who are looking for a big-time collision today.

“Yes, I feel like we are in the top two,” coach Catlin Rice said about his Cambridge Trojans.

They are currently rated Class D’s No. 10 dual team while a familiar Trojan foe brings three Class D state-rated wretlers.

“I think it will be between us and Hitchcock County for the team title,” Rice explained. “It should be a good and fun day.”

Adam Corbet and Jacob Corbett are both Class D top five-rated, according to Nebraska Wrestling Coaches Association voters.

Hitchcock counters with a trio in seniors Keegan Shuler, Kolyn Gaston and Tanner O’Brien.

Yet defending Class D state champ Braxton Hammond could make the Southern Valley Eagles a dangerous darkhorse.

Arapahoe is the defending RPAC team champions and Southwest won’t likely surrender wins easly on those home mats.

The teams are also rested since snow forced postponements like Thursday’s Hitchcock County Quadrangular.
