Busy McCook state champ earns top three in Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. — McCook’s Nathaniel Miller recently competed in a USTA tennis tournament in Wichita.
The following are Nathaniel’s results where he earned a third place finish.
Round of 16, defeated J. Judkins from Wichita, Kan.
Quarters Defeated E. Lopez from Wichita.
Semifinals lost to L. Taylor from Maize, Kan.
3rd/4th place defeated K. King from Goddard, Kan.
Nathaniel Miller was a driving force behind McCook High’s historic Class B boys state tennis champions this fall.
Nathaniel stepped into the No. 1 singles position and delivered huge wins all season.
He earned a Class B No. 3 state seed, then even farther into the Class B state championshp match where Nathaniel placed second.
