Thanks, McCook, for hosting Smithsonian exhibition

On behalf of Humanities Nebraska, thank you to McCook for hosting the Smithsonian Institution’s Crossroads: Change in Rural America exhibition!

Humanities Nebraska is very pleased to have partnered with the McCook Economic Development Corporation in bringing a bit of the Smithsonian to your community. The humanities are all about exploring our history and culture in order to build a better future, and we applaud McCook for embracing a project like Crossroads, which explored the past and future of change in rural America.

Our special thanks to Nebraska Foundation for the Humanities board member Linda Graff and many others in the community who made the exhibition and special programming successful.

Thanks also to the Shoemaker Family Foundation, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Batten Trailer Leasing, the National Endowment for the Humanities and others, for their generous support of this exhibition.
