MNB starting and fast strong vs Broken Bow

The rally started with McCook National Bank reaching on a wild strike and they mixed in some head-first slides across home plate during an eight-run first inning against Broken Bow's Senior Legion baseball team Saturday afternoon. The MNB Seniors were leading 8-4 in pursuit of their first win this season. McCook's First Central Bank Juniors lost 13-0 which started the doubleheader at McCook's Jaycees Complex. Remember, both teams host Ogallala on Sunday for a 1/3:30 p.m. doubleheader. Results will appear soon and in Tuesday's Gazette.
