Pinnacle Bank boys sweep through York tourney!

YORK, Neb. — McCook's Pinnacle Bank Legion baseball team won the York Tournament during this past weekend.

The boys went 3-0 while improving to 6-3 overall this season.

In the first game, they defeated Grand Island Bandits 9-6.

In the next game they shut out host York 13-0.

In the finals, they defeated North Platte Heat 8-2.

Other McCook Legion baseball featured Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel traveling to Hastings on Saturday for a doubleheader and won both games: 7-6 in first game and 12-9 in the second game. Hermann Jones is now 5-1 on the season.
