Broncos star joining sister at a higher level of Broncos

Wauneta-Palisade senior Alexa Sandman (second from right) recently signed to join the Hastings College volleyball program where she’ll play with older sister Haylee starting this fall. Alexa’s currently playing for the talented Broncos basketball team which has reached the D-2 district finals next week. She set records while playing for W-P and more details will be featured in an upcoming Gazette. Joining Alexa from left are brother Noah Sandman, dad Derek Sandman and mom Alexa Sandman. Standing is coach Katie Lawless who guided the Broncos through an excellent volleyball season last fall.
