Help on the hike

A pair of alpacas got their first taste of snow, but weren't needed as pack animals on the First Day Hike Saturday at the Red Willow State Recreation Area. A hardy group of souls turned out for the event, sponsored by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and Republican River Fitness Series.
