Bison football features four Class B all-district

McCook junior quarterback Adam Dugger, lineman Eli Kehler and linebacker-fullback Alex Anthony have joined senior defensive back-receiver Nathan Renner on this fall's Class B All-District 5 football team announced today.

The Bison foursome join eight players from district champion Scottsbluff, six from Lexington, two Gering Bulldogs and two Alliance Bulldogs on this top team.

McCook split four district games while finishing 4-6 overall. The Bison reached Class B state playoffs again where they lost at No. 1-ranked and unbeaten Bennington on Oct. 29.

Scottsbluff reached the state quarterfinals before falling at Aurora last weekend. Lexington also dropped a first-round game to those Aurora Huskies.
