ARAPAHOE, Neb. — The Arapahoe Warriors built a 38-0 lead en route to their 52-26 win over Southern Valley and first undefeated football regular season since 2012.

Arapahoe (8-0 record) saw senior Tristian White lead yet another awesome effort with those first four Warrior touchdowns.

White ran 33, one and 4 yards for TDs along with a two-point pass to Tyler Miller which helped make it 22-0.

When Southern Valley (1-7) started a determined rally, White defused it with his “pick six” interception return.

Gabe White then caught a two-point pass from White for the 30-0 advantage at halftime.

Wyatt Jenkins’ 16-yard run was followed by Tristian and Bryan Conn connecting for another two-point conversion.

Mason Noel’s TD reception from Kamden Bose got the Eagles their first points.

Noel took another pass 12 points to bring S.V. within 38-12.

However, White went seven yards to the end zone again and found Gabe White for a 46-12 advantage.

Isaac Phillamy delivered the game’s longest touchdown play to this point, rumbling 51 yards for SV.

Yet Tristian White would not be topped as returned the ensuing kickoff 57 yards for one more score.

Southern Valley’s Dominic Comstock did cover six yards to finish the 52-26 contest.

Overall, Jenkins actually led Arapahoe’s rushing attack with 143 yards though Tristian was close at 141. Arapahoe won without completing a pass.

Noel caught an impressive 14 S.V. passes covering 116 yards. Overall, quarterback Bose was 35 of 53 passing for 246 yards and two TDs.

McPhillamy caught another 13 throws for 91 yards besides his 62 rushing yards on just seven carries.

Defensively, Noel made 10 solo tackles while Jenkins and Dylan Bahe were both credited for 8 1/2 stops to lead the Warriors.

Rafe Hill and Conn added seven stops apiece with Conn’s six being solos.

DC-S prevails

Cambridge (4-4) took a 6-0 lead before the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers scored 24 and 26 points in those next two periods.

The Tigers (7-1) went on to a 62-22 victory which should create some more momentum in pursuit of their D-1 state championship “repeat” beginning next week.

Cambride will also likely reach the playoffs.

Quarterback Crason Trompke passed for 192 yards with three TD throws going senior Dahlton Wood (six catches,125 yards), Cole Fiene (one for 10) and junior Kohan Grindle (six for 75). Grindle ran for more than 230 yards vs. Hi-Line last week; Tigers held him to 23.
