'Second Chance' school supply giveaway next week

McCOOK, Neb. -- The Family Resource Center plans its annual “Second Chance” School Supply Giveaway from Monday through Friday, Aug. 9- 13.  Any family that was unable to attend other school supply giveaways in the area is welcome to stop by and pick up supplies for their children. 

A new feature has been added this year.  There will also be a Clothing Giveaway during the school supply event.  This includes clothing in infant through high school sizes.  The event includes many brand new clothes, as well as the usual gently used items.  All families are welcome to get clothing even if they are not getting school supplies.

School supplies and clothing will be available on: Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 pm to 7 p.m.; Aug. 10 -12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.;  and Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
