The family of Mick Helberg of Hamlet, Neb., is requesting a card shower in honor of his 91st birthday on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021.He was born in Arnold, Neb. He was the Hayes County Extension Agent for many years, working with 4-H members and also for Central Sandhills Extension Counties before retiring. He especially liked working with the 4-H youth and their horses. His family includes children, Jim (Christy) Helberg of Hamlet, Cindy (Randy) Acton of Wauneta, Diane (Terry) Richards of Hayes Center; grandchildren, Dustin Mintling, Devon Helberg, Tyler (Leane) Acton, Dustin Acton, Lindsay Acton; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Maxine Nelson, Sydney, Aden and Emma Acton; and 3 grand dogs, Koda, Winston and Ace.
