McCook tennis girls take top four spot in 'B'

McCook coach Matt Wiemers gathers with his Bison tennis team one more time after they garnered a Class B No. 4 team finish at Lincoln's Woods Tennis Center on Friday.
All six players also captured Class B state medals with junior Joslyn Hammond reaching the No. 2 singles championship match for second overall.
From left are senior Megan Hodgson, Hammond, seniors Olivia Koetter, Elsa Wilcox, Lexi Hauxwell and Emily Kendal. Hodgson finished fourth among No. 1 singles players while both Bison doubles teams placed seventh among 32 teams competing in each division.
