McCook High's Brent May and Tom Sughroue have been named Southwest Conference track-field coaches the year, MHS officials announced Monday morning.

May guided the Bison girls to a SWC team title and also won a Greater Nebraska Activities Conference title on Thursday at North Platte.

Sughroue was selected SWC co-Coach Of The year with Broken Bow's Ryan Wetovick. McCook ran away with the SWC team title before taking second at last week's GNAC.
