The family of Claire (Anderjaska) Uerling is hosting an open house and requesting a card shower in honor of her 90th birthday on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born in St. Anne in Frontier County, Neb., and lived on a farm near McCook and Indianola, Neb. She was married to Robert Uerling for over 64 years. Her family includes seven children, twins, Rosann (Tom) Wattonville of Bakersfield, Calif., and Susanne (Mike) Osberg of Grand Island, Neb., Carol (Mark) Akers of Omaha, Neb., and Mark (Sherri) Uerling of McCook, Nancy McGrath of Bennington, Neb., James (Kathy) Uerling of Indianola, and Ray (Lee) Uerling of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. The open house is Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the Heritage Senior Center in McCook, 1312 West Fifth, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Cake and refreshments will be served.
