Posters by Imperial second-grader Peyton Banks, above, and Hayes Center sixth-grader Addison Richards, below, won Governor’s Choice awards in the Nebraska Department of Agriculture’s 18th annual National Ag Week poster contest. This year’s theme was “Nebraska Agriculture: Straight from the Good Life.” “There are many talented students in Nebraska who learned about agriculture and how important the ag industry is to our state through this contest,” said NDA Director Steve Wellman. “The posters we received this year were outstanding.
