Work will begin on N-25, North and South of Trenton

McCOOK, Neb. — Weather permitting, work will begin April 1, north and south of Trenton on N-25, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

 Paulsen Inc., of Cozad, Nebraska, has the $5,744,207 contract. Work includes bridge repairs, culvert extensions, earthwork, sidewalk ramps, concrete curb repairs, asphalt milling and overlay, pavement markings, and seeding.

Work will take place from Reference Post 13.23 to Reference Post 22.43.

Traffic will be maintained with lane closures, flaggers, and temporary traffic signals as well as a 12-foot width restriction for the bridges south of Trenton. Anticipated completion is December 2021.

 Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
