Letter to the Editor

Shakespeare and CPAK

Tuesday, March 2, 2021

Dear Editor,

In William Shakespeare's play, "The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark."  Act I, Scene II, we hear the famous words of Hamlet, to wit:-

"My father's spirit--in arms? All is not well..

I doubt some foul play. Would the night were come!

Till then, sit still, .my soul. Foul deeds will rise.

"Though all the earth  o'erwhelm them to men's eyes."

During Sunday's CPAK' s  conservative speakers, the president of our country's  "Judicial Watch," who formerly exposed the "e-mail scandal " as it was propagated by, yours truly, Hilary Clinton," listed the individuals who are alleged to be the members of the "Washington Swamp," and who are currently being investigated, by the "Judical Watch," as the "hidden members" of a secret conspiracy to bring down President Donald J. Trump. These alleged conspiritors, currently being investigated, according to "Judicial Watch", are the following,:-- Barrack Obama, James Comey, together with Breenan and Biden.

"Keep  still your souls," conservatives. To quote another play of Shakespeare's, 'Macbeth,":  to wit-: "Murder will out. It cannot be  hid for long."

Yours truly,

James G. McHale

Cambridge, Neb.

  • There's a good reason many people dislike reading Shakespeare. His name is James G. McHale, who wastes his time stretching a Shakespeare metaphor to its near breaking point.

    Dear Mr. McHale,

Please express those thoughts in AMERICAN English - my Shakespearean understanding is sorely lacking.

    Thanks.

PS: Thank you for using your true name - there are a few respondents on this board who think themselves wise in hiding their questionable opinions behind a veil of anonymity.

  • Veils of anonymity are in fashion this season, especially when calling out people who didn't pay attention in English class, Bruce.

    So many Trumpist snowflakes panicking.

So much fear as they slowly realize they're the minority now, and what their future holds.

"When you fear a foe, fear crushes your strength; and this weakness gives strength to your opponents."

    William Shakespeare
