Bison attendance staying steady, but freshmen canceled

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook High’s maintaining 50 percent capacity for upcoming home sporting events like Saturday’s basketball games against the Minden Whippets.

Coach Darin Nichols provided this statement:

“For Saturday’s contests against Minden, we will be allowing the McCook players to have their parents, grandparents currently on the attendance list and allowing McCook students and additional family members along with 150 general walk-up tickets to the public.

When these tickets are sold out, we will not be allowing anyone else into the facility.

These tickets can be picked up athrough game time on Saturday at the High School office.”

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook High School released information about upcoming basketball games this morning:

“We are postponing the boys and girls freshman basketball games today with Ogallala until Monday. Game times will be 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.”
