95th birthday

The family of Pauline Frecks is honoring her with a card shower on her 95th birthday. Pauline was born on Dec. 19, 1925 in Duncan, Neb. Her family moved to a farm near Culbertson when she was 9 years old and attended and graduated from Culbertson High School. She married Alvere Frecks in 1944 and they made their home on the family farm southwest of Culbertson. She moved to McCook in 2010. Her family includes her late husband Alvere and children, Cheryl and Harvey Steier of Atwood, Kansas, Gary and Pam Frecks of Wilsonville, Neb., Karen and Paul Smolik of Kearney, Neb., and Mark and Nancy Frecks of Culbertson, Neb.; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
