Time to remember chaplains and troops

Dear Editor,

Friends of McCook and Southwest Nebraska, it’s that time of year again to remember our Chaplains and troops.

I am only helping some great people who have taken on the job I had for past 15 years in sending care boxes to the troops at Christmas time.

Peace Lutheran Church here in McCook Linda Nielson 308-340-2800 is organizer and St Paul’s Lutheran Church Cambridge Lori Leibrandt 308-737-1831 organizer.

Now what I would like from you good people is snack items or money for us to buy items or money for postage.

Linda is sending her 50 boxes Nov 12 and 13 and Lori middle of Nov. You can drop off items at my house if you want 201 West M Street 308-340-3578.
