CAMBRIDGE, Neb. -- The Tri Valley Health System has released the following information about Phase 3 restrictions at its Assisted Living Facility:

The health and safety of our residents, patients, employees, visitors, and communities is a top priority at Tri Valley Health System, while we also understand how important the support of loved ones and friends are to health and wellbeing. Effective, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 Tri Valley Health System will be transitioning into Phase 3 for the Assisted Living Facility and will be responsibly easing restrictions at the Assisted Living Facility. Each resident will be allowed one adult visitor per day during the visiting hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors must be age 19 or older, pass a health screening including a temperature check, practice hand hygiene, and wear a mask for the duration of their visit. Masks are available for those who don’t have one. Tri Valley Health System can also coordinate visits with residents on the patio and virtual visits. To schedule a patio or virtual visit call 308-697-4423. The Assisted Living salon will also reopen with restrictions in place. The cosmetologist will follow all state guidelines specific to Phase 3 from the Department of Health and Human Services. Non-medical trips outside the facility should be limited and will require prior authorization and approval. Residents with high-risk co-morbidities should continue to avoid non-medical trips outside the facility.

Employees and residents will continue to be screened regularly, wear face coverings, practice good hand hygiene, and social distancing.

Tri Valley Health System will closely monitor local community trends and outbreaks according to the recommendations and requirements by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department and revisions may be made as conditions warrant.

Tri Valley Health System CEO Jessica Fisher said, “Tri Valley Health System continues to follow all recommendations from the Centers of Disease Control, Department of Health and Human Services, and our local public health department to ensure that we are keeping residents, employees, visitors and our communities safe.
