Hospital offering Childbirth Education via videoconferencing

McCOOK, Nebraska — Community Hospital is offering Childbirth Education classes in May via WebEx, a free video conferencing online meeting. The classes will be offered on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm on May 4, 11, 18 and June 1. The class is intended for couples who are in their last trimester of pregnancy.

The four-week course covers the process of labor, pain relief measures, breathing and relaxation techniques, and medical procedures that could occur while in labor. The first three classes are childbirth education, while the fourth class is breastfeeding education.

To register for the online meeting, call Community Hospital at 308-344-2650. Leave your name, phone number and email address. A WebEx invitation and link will be emailed to registrants. A minimum number of registrations are required to hold the class.
