Steady sales for COVID Cash

McCOOK, Neb. -- Sales for the McCook stimulus spending program began Monday at the Keystone Business Center. The program, organized by McCook Christian Church and funded by a grant from The McCook Community Foundation Fund, allows buyers to purchase COVID Cash to be spent at more than 100 local businesses. Minimum purchase is $100, with a maximum of $500. For every $100 purchased, the buyer receives $120 worth of COVID Cash. The cash is distributed in $10 increments and can be spent at participating businesses just like cash. They must be spent by Sept. 1, 2020. The sales office at the Keystone is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Checks are not accepted.
