Haigler alumni event canceled

HAIGLER, Neb. -- Like our surrounding communities, it is with sad hearts that Haigler will also have to cancel this year’s Haigler Alumni events scheduled over Memorial weekend, May 22-25, 2020.

This is a first-ever for these annual events to be canceled.

Disappointing as it is, we want everyone to be safe and healthy in these uncertain times of the COVID 19 corona virus pandemic. Dundy County is working hard to follow the guidelines of safe distancing, masking, and no large gatherings — and thus far it is working for us as there are no cases to date of the virus in our county.

The 50th year and other year class celebrations for this year will not be forgotten—but celebrated with next year’s classes in 2021.
