Wednesday, March 11, 2020

Because of the weather forecast for Sunday, the McCook Community College softball and baseball teams are abandoning plans for home games Sunday.

MCC softball’s doubleheader with Western Nebraska has been moved up to Thursday (March 12). The Lady Indians and Cougars will play a pair of games at the Jaycees Sports Complex at noon and 2 p.m.

MCC baseball, 12-10 are scheduled to play a three-game series against Southeast Community College and Saturday and Sunday but the coaches from the two schools are watching the weather and may move the series up a day or two before any adverse weather moves in.

Also one other scheduling change, this one not affected by weather. The MCC Golf team has added an even to the spring schedule.

The team will travel to Beatrice April 20-21 to participate in a tournament.
