Knight errants
Dear Editor,
First let me say, "Kudos to the young man from Stratton, who pointed out the great harm that is in store for Nebraskans if bills LB167, LB168, LB627 were to pass." The article was published in the Opinion section, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019.
The writer does a good job of pointing out the design of our Creator in deciding on a dual, male-female, not a male-female, homosexual, transgender, a sort of smorgasbord variety of human kinds or natures.
The mindset of the proponents of these deviant oriented bills is such that " when you see a problem that infects society, you must go along to get along."
"The situation with homosexuals and transgenders is hopeless. Therefore, let them be. Don't bother trying to help them. That really amounts to abuse." And so it goes. This is why we have nincompoops proposing legislation that eventually will lead to the chaos that both Pope Benedict and Mr. Desautels can see resulting proposing such deviant legislation for Nebraskans. There is an old Latin proverb that stares us in the face, each day that we get up, to wit, Errare est humanum, Latin---To err is human!
Finally, a knight errant in the Middle Ages was one who deviated from the norm. Today we have Legislator errants who are proposing deviant bills to be foisted on to Nebraskans. Who was it that said, "Let's get rid of the bums?"
Sincerely
