ARAPAHOE, Neb. — Sheila Rae Moore, 68, of Arapahoe, died Saturday (Nov. 3, 2018), at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb.

She was born Nov. 20, 1949 in Comstock, Neb., to Jerry and Dorthea (Edwards) Vanek. She married Larry Moore on April 1, 1968 in Kan. They moved to Arapahoe, Neb. She worked at the Derby Café for various owners and from 1988 to 1992, she owned the cafe. She retired in 2009.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Moore; sister-in-law, Marla Sue, and brother-in-law, Patrick Moore.

Survivors include children, Kimberly and husband, Kevin Herbert and Scott and wife, Angie Moore, all of Arapahoe; brothers, Garry Vanek of Albuquerque, N.M., and Danny and wife, Rebecca Vanek of Ord, Neb.; sister, Judy and husband, Larry Konkoleski of Ord, and two grandchildren.

Vsitation is Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, from 2 to 8 p.m., with family present from 5 to 6 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Chapel.

Services are Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe with Rev. Becky Saddler, officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe. Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com
